BUNION (Hallux Valgus)

Developing bunion is a foot condition that’s on the rise, increasing day by day. Its characterized by a bony bump that protrudes outward and big toe is pushed inward. This bump develops when the pressure on the base of the first metatarsal increase on every step of one walks.
Bunion increases the width of the foot so wearing the current shoes/footwear become tight squeezing the bunion and continues wearing ill-fitting footwear increasing pressure on the base of the 1st metatarsal (ball of the foot). This results in pain, swelling, redness, discomfort.
